Dreaming On

It used to be, long ago, that all I ever wanted was my very own Greenhouse, similar to this one that my sister, Cher, picked out.  We would use all reclaimed materials.  There are tons of old windows, doors, shelving.  That used to be the plan, placed on the slab of concrete facing south, right next to the barn, now used for garden storage.

That is no longer true.  My life has changed, regrettable as it is, so now I want this lovely Sunroom that I found on Lavender Dreams...it looks like Bill could materialize this dream for me easy enough, just off the family room to the south.  He's always been quite handy.  I could still start a few plants for the garden, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, squash., a few flowers.
What do you think?  I say, if he can build a couple of storage buildings for his toys and farm equipment, and a garage and shop for his and the boys use, then surely, he can build this fine sunroom for his bride~~~don't you think?  I think it should be done first thing this spring of 2013, before any field work or wood cutting should interfere....I wonder....we could make more lumber of our own, we do have access to his brother's sawmill at any time....I do wonder....

Have a great day while I dream
and
BlessYourHeart

I know where you can get three BIG windows! They're like living room windows but they don't open ~ but you can add opening ones elsewhere to catch the cross breeze. Paul just told me about them last night. Give him a call. They would be perfect for the sunroom project.

That is truly a delicious room.
Yes, yes, yes, you need to get right on ordering the materials so your hubby can lay the foundation early Spring, I mean seriously the chores and farming will always be there waiting their turn to be done. ~lol~
Ah dare to dream :)

Anything is possible. It just depends on how big a guilt trip that you want to lay on him. :-}

Great idea Bride, but seems Bill has gone missing!!!

I am sure he will give it some thought, I remember once hearing some good advice for you ladies, If a Man says he will do something, he doesn't have to be reminded EVERY YEAR.!!!

Love you dear Darla, of course with your knowledge of Bro Bill, he is only putty in your hands.

BUT He and I both would probably you have some great ideas!! LOL

Love ya and good luck, you will win of course.

I so agree.... :) I used to want a greenhouse on a cement slab also. Never got it , but its ok, cuz what I have now is even better. Dreams and goals are good. Its what keeps us going! Don't ever quit dreaming. That just leads to old age, lol. So what would be your plans for your sunroom. I would love to hear more!
