We got our first snow whether we wanted it or not. Although it was much too early in the year for this, it was a gorgeous ride into the cabin. We spent 2 days, ate well there and slept better., and they were only naps...leave the window open a bit so we could hear the creek tumbling...awwww...wonderful what God has gifted us with. We really do live in a beautiful part of the country, and so fortunate to experience all 4 seasons...we truly are blessed...Even if it is a bad day, find at least one thing that makes you smile.

So when are you selling your house and moving across the street to the cabin?? If the kids want a place to stay when they come... let them stay at the house. Let them make the house their hunting hangout and go live at the cabin already!! You're not getting any younger; go enjoy that place on a daily basis... while you still can.

Snow sure is beautiful ~ especially the FIRST snowfall, but it sure loses its appeal in a hurry.
I'm thinking the geese are smarter than us.
