Just yesterday, I was collecting sparse Winterberries, balsam, pine and cedar boughs and cones to beat this....
it started snowing around midnight...
even tho I knew it was coming, I hesitate to worry...
TOO much.
By this morning, the yard looked like a clean blanket.
Even the garden trellis is still smiling...
The early snow quickly reminded me that I still need to
put the patio furniture away...
but it sure was a pretty drive to town for coffee.
Winter isn't officially here yet,
so, there's ' Snow Way ' this can stay.
Life is Still Pretty Gorgeous

It was a big change from the weather yesterday. I don't think it's going to stay yet ... a lot has melted off already. It can take it's time before it stays ~ our winters are plenty long enough as it is!
Oh my stars, wow! That's a honey of a snow. I'm amazed that you have snow already... and so much snow... Maybe it's like a sample-snow and will melt off and go away until later in the winter. :)
nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
That is really beautiful! Nothing like a fluffy coat of snow.
Beautiful pictures. The patio furniture looks like it is ready for Mr & Mrs Snowpersons.
Bet the coffee was good!
Love from South Carolina....
oh wow a trip to town for coffee in the snow sounds fab. We are just appreciating the weather being a little cooler in the mornings.
I remember what the first snow - light - feels like - it does feel good and so fresh and refreshing. The rest of the snow - not so much. sandie
Lovely photos! Yes, winter is on the way even here in north central KY. I'm thinking I need to put my porch furniture away too. :)
Have a great weekend!

Snow way...well nature has a way of getting what she wants doesn't she?
It's still beautiful..and you have Balsam? Sigh.

We had snow last week and it is falling again this morning- I expect it is here to stay- As long as it doesn't rain with it I don't mind the snow too much.
Hope all is well with you and yours and that you are staying warm Dar.
Warmest regards,
Anna
