Woe is Me.
I have so much to be grateful for
But ZZZZZZ'not
This dreaded code'n'my'node~
~~~~~
I have a retirement party to get under way
My health's going south
No rest for today,
To get anything done,
I must breed' thru my mouth.
Lordy, Lordy, This won't be fun.
I will get it all done,
Fear not, I'll survive...
Under clouds and the sun
At least I'm alive.
Though the day was unwelcome
With feeling so crappy,
Floors shine, dinner's eaten
And everyone's happy.
The sneezing, eyes water,
Kleenex are soaked,
Steeped tea makes life better,
Don't tease me, no jokes.
This is the end,
There won't be any more,
Don't wake me, Don't touch me
Or there will be war.
Until further notice~
oh, sweetpea! you made me chuckle, though!
We're both all 'thtuffed up' too! Terrible head colds.
I see you are carrying on with Aunt Lorraine's poetry!
'love & hugs from afar'
oh dear...get some rest...and take of YOU
nice poem by the way....
Hang in there, it will get better.
Thanks for stopping in to visit. you have no reply comment blogger so I cannot reply directly to your comments.
This made me laugh as John's step father used to say I can't breed through my nose. when John gets stopped up he likes to mock his step father.
Yeah I am with paula, I smiled big at that line!!!
Hope you get better. YOu need some Day-Tyme stuff, take two aspirins, don't kiss Bill, wash your hands take a deep breath and SUCK IT IN! WE HAVE A RETIREMENT PARTY TO ENJOY!!!!!
Love you girl, hope you get to feeling better, it is miserable to be sick at a GOOD time.
Love from Florida!!!
Ditto what Cheryl said. Hope you and Cher are all over this rotten cold business soon. Both you gals sounded pretty hoarse and stuffed up on the phone.
Hope you feel better soon. The weather in Northern Wisconsin is too nice to miss out on.
What a bummer--to feel sick when there are fun things planned. Hope you miraculously clear up in time!
Well, bless your dear heart, Dar! So sorry to read that your having problems with sinus congestion. May all of you be given extra strength to get through the party. Enjoy what you can - endure what you can't.
