The Five F's

Frogs
They were all over the place at the Frog Jumping Contest that some of the family boys competed in.
Pick out your favorite frog, boys.
Sy, cousin Sean, and Ben are holding Tiny, Hoppy and Cutie!
I love those expressions!
Ben's frog hopped in a semi-circle,
Sean's made it into the second heat,
and Sy's just sat on the center line, liking that hot of the pavement.
As we always say, there were no winners
nor were there any losers.
It's all part of the fun of gathering for a day together.
Family The next day, there was a family gathering of 20 of us for Ben's belated
Birthday party, and look who ended up swimming~~~
Aunt Steph came running into the front room yelling
" There's a F-rog in the Punchbowl!!! "
The kids all thought it was the greatest thing in the world~~~
that Uncle Eric is Soooo funny!
Soon Mr. Croak ended up under Andy's hat....also so funny, Syrus!
Four

or ' I'm chor ' as Ben says...he's the birthday boy farthest to the right in his Packer shirt with cousins, Hannah, Chloe, Megan, Ryele, Katie, Josh and brother Syrus.
Let the party begin. There was a pizza feed, cake and ice cream, gifts to open and a pool party for Ben. What a great family gathering again as some of the cousins got together to play and celebrate.
Lately, this ol' Granny cannot get enough of these family events. So,
maybe another cookout and one or two last pool parties before summer ends and school begins. There were 9 of our 11 Grandloves hugging us goodbye this past weekend. They make our day.
Food

Among all of the Frogs, Family and turning Four, there was
still food to put up for the winter.
Good stuff like, Raspberry Jam
and Beans, lots more beans coming,
Forecast

because the forecast has promised more rain.
to help the produce, ' produce.'
For now, I need to cut cabbage before any more of them split because more rain is on it's way.
Saurkraut making begins tonight.

Hope your day is Smiling on You.
BlessYourHeart

It was a lot of fun seeing you at the frog jumping contest. Happy belated birthday to Ben! Sloane turns 4 today! How nice that most of your grand-loves made it home at the same time.

Something about family gatherings, festivals and Frogs. What a great entry and good pictures. Love the frog in the punch bowl. The kids will forever remember that!

Food is always a pleasant site with you. You know how to make it look good!
Love from down in NC, cooling off some, time to head back to the flat lands and get an RV port installed.

Love from down here.

What a great birthday party! Looks like everyone had a great time! I miss "putting up" food for the winter. We used to visit family in TN and most of the time was spent doing just that. Wonderful memories!
