Gone Shopping

We are so ready for some warmer weather.
We are so tired of frozen rain gauges.
A frozen patio table top is no place for tea, coffee, or even a hot cocoa.
We are saddened by frozen apple buds.
So we are out of here in Big Blue.
See you in a few days. Have a great weekend at the end of your rainbow.

BlessYourHearts and Thanks for stopping

Sheesh! And I'm whining because Sunday's temp is in the upper 40s and some nights are around freezing!

I'll quit sniveling!

What's on the shopping list? Garden projects?? How about a heated pool?? That would be fun :)

Warmer weather on its way to you.

The frozen apple buds are sad. That happened to a family with an orchard here last year, they lost almost their entire crop.
I'll be wishing you some warmer weather...

Have a great time unthawing! Those little getaways are so worth it. I do hope that it starts to warm up for you soon!

Sorry, Dar, about the apple trees. I only have two young trees and something got every bud. Also we had lots of bunches of grapes showing - but the golf-ball sised hail knocked much of the budding fruit down. I seem to have a few bunches still hanging on. Other than power out for four hours we had no damage here from the storm while neighbors about 5 miles away had their houses blown off the foundations. Have fun shopping!

Hey Dar...I'm sorry about your trees....Sure wish I could wrap up some of this 84 degree Texas weather and send it to you....I think I have told you this before, that we are in the Nursery Business...Grow all kinds of trees. Sad thing is that we have already had to start irrigating this year...It has been so dry and the temps have been so warm...
Blessings My Friend...I am certainly thankful that God knows what we have need of...
take care and many hugs
