Easy Peezy, Gut Knots, Wait

Give me a project. Something Easy-Peezy, like restoring an old ice chest, or converting by inverting an old barn fork to hold my garden gloves and small hand tools.Teach me to make a Solomon's Man for the wee ones to play with as I wait for the knots,
as large as a Monkey's Fist Knot, to unfurl from my gut.
Give me patience, to wait.
Wait and see what's ahead. Impatience is blocking my view. Knowing that I will have some tough decisions to make, has distracted my clear thinking. I have heard it said many times, that God does not give us more than we can handle, but then I heard it another way. God DOES give us More than we can handle, so we remember to turn to HIM.
Give me strength, then~

Have the best weekend folks, and enjoy every last second of it.
Thanks for stopping and Thank God

The old ice chest will be a beautiful project. Pray God will give you the clear thinking you seem to be wanting right now.

Prayers for you to find your way through the obstacles in your path!

The ice chest is gorgeous, look forward to seeing what you do with it. The "knot man" is precious!

Hmm now I ask, what is going on in her life to make her so introspective...something very private..not for blogger friends
I've had such stirrings myself and didn't share..too private
involved others whose privacy I respect
But you said what you could because you needed to
that is enough
Prayer it is for your knowing
knowing what to do
knowing what is right
knowing just plain knowing
yes, I can do that pray for you
and to think yesterday or so
all you talked about was Clarabelle
and leaving that moment of life and knowing it
hmm
sister dar...can you feel my hand in yours

Sometimes asking for patience seems to bring on more reasons for patience.
But one ting is for sure God is Faithful, and ALL THINGS work for good for those who love him.

That said, I failed knot tying. Could never make a monkey fist, a very important KNot in a Sailors life.
I could not have tied the Knot Man, but I was a 'Not man' the Bosun said. hahaha Then he completed the lecture to say that I was a KNot head.
Thanks for reminders I would rather forget. hahahahahahahaaha

Love from the WARM country.

Try to not worry yourself about the decision. I know that's much like telling the wind to not blow, but give it your best. Measure pros and cons; pray on it; do what you must. In time it will become clear. Or clearer. Hugs for patience and peace of heart. :)

Hi Dar, By knowing to be a little patient before making decisions is a good thing.. Sometimes, we make quick decisions and then regret them later... I always say to "sleep on it" first and get your mind CALM before making any decisions.

Good luck with your ice chest project.... Looks like a perfect place for your tools.
Hugs,
Betsy

Suggestion - work on small projects while waiting for the time and strength for bigger projects ... it will kill time and keep your mind busy at the same time.

Love that ice box. It is a treasure. I have wanted one for years. Found one I really like but they will not sell. Some day I may get to buy it. Blessings!
