But, what will it be. I love working with this cotton yarn. It feels good any season, warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. Just like wool.
What's that smell? Any suggestions on getting the pickled egg smell out of my glass jar? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Vinegar and baking soda did not work. Nuff said.
Thank You All for stopping by. Have a bright day, and be grateful for every second.

By the way, thank you all for your concerns of my ill-tempered ' bad day ' yesterday. We are both going to be fine, as we are fighters and survivors.
Update:
Re: Bill's arm looks much better this morning. It isn't as bad as we thought but still will take a few weeks of silvadine ointment and wraps to heal his burn. He never missed any work and is optimistic.
Re: Dar's bod...is healing slowly. The therapy has released some of the pinch in my neck, thus movement is less miserable. As for my feet being numb, the doc says it is nerve damage from my back injury and surgery on one foot and the other is a pinched nerve in my lower back.
I, too, am optimistic.
The sun is shining. Go out and have a WONDERFUL day.
Once again,

Good weather,
Yuk to pickled eggs,lol.
Set that glass jar outside in the sun, hurry !! A little bleach in the jar with some water in the sun will help too.
Hurray for your heat wave!!! Always perks up the mood when it's ONLY -12! :)
My father made pickled eggs. And ate pickled pigs feet. And head cheese. And blood sausage. Are you sufficiently grossed out yet?! :) Now, that smell of pickled eggs ain't so bad, is it?!
Glad to hear that things are improving there in Wisconsin. Everything from the weather to yours and your husband's bodies. Glad you are able to move with a little less pain today.
So happy to hear you and Bill are on the mend. The sun has a lot to do with our moods too ~ glad it's shining on you today.
As for the 'pickling' jar - keep it filled nonstop like I do. I have one particular jar going all the time in rotation of pickled things. Eggs, beets, sausauges, gizzards, beef heart, 5 bean salad (three just isn't enough you know.) Well you get the idea! The smell will never bother you agian:)
I'm glad I had you in tears laughing about my post today of our SISTER, SISTER day! What a memory! Cute pic huh!
'love & hugs from afar'
Just pickle some more eggs in it! Problem solved. I am one smart sucker!!! hahahahha or you could
Try a quart of gasoline! LOL
Then to get the gasoline smell out? You could pickle some pigs feet!LOL
Glad the weather is helping in the physical side as well. It is hard for us (down here) to understand that kind of temp. changes!!!
Also Glad Bill ain't as bad as you thought. Now he can be at work and out of your .... Oh well at least he hasn't missed any work. Being home might cause to much indoor activity and you might end up----
Anyway enjoy that sun!!!
Love from down in Florida where it is ccoold still in the 60's. Supposed to warm up tomorrow though.
Hi Dar, I just checked out the sister's pictures on Cher's blog. When did you lose Lana? Do all of you blog????? That is super!!!!
Glad you are doing a little better. Less pain is a good thing.. I'll keep you in my prayers --and glad that hubby's arm is better.
What about some bleach in that jar???
Hugs,
Betsy
Hey! Glad the sun is shining for you and that you feeling better. I read somewhere a few years ago about an experience with lights being used to treat depression. I can't remember the details - but seems that they were having some success by putting bright flourescent bulbs all around the walls of mental hospital and finding their patients all were much improved. Their conclusion: Sunshine can put people in a happier mood. Ha.
I'm also glad to read that Bill's arm is better. If the burn starts to blister and burst, use aloe vera if it's available.
Be blessed
We are looking forward to a warm up this weekend. It will be nice to have temperatures above freezing! I hope that the thick ice covering our driveway melts!
Oh these, wretched, temporal bodies ... what a pain they are ... but ONE day! Whoot, I'm looking forward to THAT day ... when we shall be changed.
In the meantime, I hope you both mend well.
How about trying charcoal for absorbing odor.
The weather here is getting warm and the snow is melting like crazy. Life is good.
