Good Morning Sunshine.....well, maybe. Before I turned around from snapping this shot, it was drizzling again. Not to worry...I already had my Butter and Eggs, not this flower, so named, but the real thing.
Also, I couldn't resist a sliver of Rhubarb Torte with some of Mom's fresh picked raspberries and, of course, a dollop of cream.
I took a short drive to town to get in on the truckload peach sale. Oh Mercy, they are dripping delicious, sold only by 1/2 bushel. Of course, I had to have some.
Wouldn't you?
Now I really must go and can some tree ripened Georgia Peaches before I am tempted to turn all of them into delectable desserts instead. Better to be like a little mouse and start putting produce up for the winter, don't you think?

Love from Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia! We are right in the corner.
Hello Dar, Your peaches look delicious... I have always loved GA peaches --but here in TN --we seem to get more South Carolina peaches than we do GA ones... Wonder why???? The South Carolina ones are very good also.....
I would love that Rhubarb Torte with raspberries... YUM!!!!! I did have fresh strawberries, blackberries and a banana on my cereal today...
Hope you have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy
now I'm real hungry
what a great morning you had
mmmmmm
We just got back from Georgia and Alabama. Got us some peaches, and also two quarts of sorgum molasses. the name has changed to syrup. Tasted them, they are good. Owner says the younger generation won't buy something called molasses! ha! heading North tomorrow!
Love ya!@!!!!!!!!
I'm hanging my head in shame. I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't like peaches. Too furry!
What's your son doing in China?
I read today, some one asking this question>" Do you gain weight when you travel?" Some people are open to local food, they love when they are exposed to new food. But some people have to have their own food, not very adventurous.
Rhubarb seems to have gained favor with the chefs these days.
Lovely and Delicious photos. yum! Those peaches look quite tasty.
I like your snapdragons. They're one of my favorite nostalgic flowers. :)
Delicious tort and now I need some peaches :) Happy hump day..
oh the problem with peaches IS all the wonderful desserts you can make with them. Got me thinking of my Peaches and Cream Pie.
You made me hungry but I guess I am weird cause I am not into ant kind of a berry except strawberries. I have a feeling I would have eaten that.
You know...I could actually smell those peaches. They would be good in my blackberry crisp!
I've never made a Rhubarb Torte...looks delicious!
I love living here in S.E. Tennessee when the peaches start turning ripe. Chick-fil-A has a peach flavored milk-shake which is soooo good. Or sometimes we make our own by dropping a couple of peaches and some ice-cream into the blender together. WONDERFUL!!! Your pictures make me want one.
That looks like a yummy tort. I wouldn't pass up those luscious peaches either.
Andy went to China to teach on plastic moulding.
My ancestors come from China, and one of my summer job in NEw Zealand was trimming plastic shoes made from a mould.
How cool is that?
Thanks for your conviction on euthanisia.
