Not the most healthy start to my day but Oh, So Good. It Does have eggs in it. Does that count?
I've many cheesecakes in the past 30-something years, making my first when I was 20. This is still my favorite with a little tweaking. I usually add twice the lemon juice and always fresh squeezed, and twice the lemon peel. I guess that turns Traditional into Lemon Cheesecake...It comes out of one of my favorite cookbooks, a WI Favorites cookbook, of course.
I had some yarn left over from that cozy vest I made for Mel's Birthday, so I whipped up mittens. I wonder who will get these? They do fit Me, hmmm.
'You got mail Aama', when he gets done playing in the snow. Don't you love that mischievous smile?
We have warmer air hitting the cold snow and trees, so we also have beautiful frosty mornings. Yesterday was frosty all day but the dampness was a bit much. Loveit tho. This is the grove of trees in my front yard.
This stand of pine are across the field to the east offering a great background to many a sunrise and rainbows.
The frost kissing the spruce boughs is beautiful. Looks a bit like snow you spray on Christmas trees.....
Back to reality. I need to take a stroll outside this morning. Who knows, no children to watch today, so I think my walk will take me to the cabin. Start a fire in the potbellied stove, have a cup of tea, maybe do a pencil drawing. It's been awhile since I have taken the time to add to my journal there. Maybe I will take snowtrack pictures. Whew, I better get going before I totally exhaust myself just thinking and talking about it. You all have a great day and

To answer your question - I had oatmeal with raisins and an orange for breakfast. But that cheesecake looks pretty tempting!
