LL and TLIF

If you are at all faint of heart, do not watch a video
about this procedure.  I had this plus 2 more procedures
done 10 yrs. ago and it's what needs to be done again.

HOWEVER,
as I arrived at the clinic for my pre-op,
I was summoned to the nearest desk for a message
to report to the orthopedic dept. immediately.

Upon my arrival, the receptionist did not have a
clue as to what was going on.

Once in a patient room, the nurse came in to
with an anxious look on her face to inform me that
my pre-0p and surgery had been
CANCELLED?????

WHAT???

Apparently the doctor himself, had an appt. that morning
to find out there was something wrong with his eye~~~

All I can say is "Good call."  I would not feel comfortable
having major surgery with a guy who couldn't see what he was doing.

So, here we go again.
More waiting, another 3-4  appt.s before we get things done.

The real positive here is that I can only
HOPE
that the neurosurgeon I have been referred to,
can help with a much less invasive procedure....
Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me and
the prayers coming, that this is going to be
a much better choice.

OH, I am SO OVER this.

Thanks for stopping by and reading this piddly stuff.

God wanted everything to be perfect for your surgery and the good thing is....HIS timing is always perfect.
Wouldn't it be a fabulous Blessing if you ended up not having to have surgery at all? God is still in the miracle working business..
hugs.

We also love you and trust this is for the best and of course prayers that this will turn out to be the best for YOU, and it will.

Love you lady I will never forget one line a teacher once said, "THINGS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE". so I say amen even surgery!

God Bless You, Dar... I am glad that the surgeon cancelled your surgery. Hopefully, they will come up with something better for you... Sounds like a horrible surgery to go through. I will keep you and your doctors on my prayer list.

God Bless.
Hugs,
Betsy

Stranger that fiction. Glad the discovery was made before your surgery. Waiting is for the birds. Hope the time passes quickly!!!

Okay ~ seriously... why WHY? would you want to watch a video of the procedure dear sister???? Sometimes you are not in control and have to have enough faith to turn it over to the Lord and the people that HE has entrusted to take care of you. Don't go over thinking and fretting about what is to be. You'll be fine. There are tons of people that have you in their prayers and no matter what the outcome ~ you'll face it and get through it:) The Lord will not put you in a situation that HE feels you cannot handle. Faith ~ hang in there. You have it and it will see you through. Now... as Daddy and Mom would always say to each other, their favorite bible verse "this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Hey girl - I believe it was the will of God - he knows best. There must be some reason. I do know you have to be frustrated.
