Looking clear across the field, the trees were gorgeous this morning, fully decked out with frost'ing. A closer peek at the evergreens out front, I could see each tiny flake of frost as it began to disappear as quickly as it appeared, glistening in the morning light. God sure knows how to kindle a good feeling that lasts all day long.
Tomorrow is supposed to bring more morning fog and frost with this January thaw we are having. My hope is that it will leave the roads safe for travel, as another 5 hour round trip, is about to begin.

Beautiful.
Drive safely.
I hope and pray you have safe travels. The frost is so pretty though. Don't tell anyone, but I do miss all the white in Wisconsin!!! Especially when I see pictures as gorgeous as yours.
You always come up with good photo shots. Have a safe trip. Think of you often down here...
Love sent from the PEACE river.
The hoarfrost the morning was gorgeous. I rode to town with Slim and I was kicking myself for not having the camera when we came past the river. The sun was shining on the trees and they just gleamed:)
Dangerous beauty, the snow is. Your photos are lovely and magical. :)
The trees are beautiful, Dar. I loved it when they are like that around here. Thanks for sharing your beautiful scenery with us.
Excellent photography from an excellent person! I love those brisk morning when they warm up into the 40's and 50's by noon! Haha. Be careful, Dar, as you and Bill travel in those foggy or icy conditions.
sooo beautiful.
Have a safe trip!
Those evergreens looked so pretty with there tips dipped in ice. Where are you going?
We truly are blessed with some awesome handiwork of the Creator!

Hoping your five hour round trip went okay, Dar. We've been having some of that morning fog and yesterday it was black ice! Hope you didn't have that to endure.
I love the hoarfrost on the trees Dar- it always makes them look like a fairyland- so pretty.
I loved your sunflowers too- very beautiful and my favorite flowers. They always make me feel happy.
Happy New Year to you and yours,
Warmest regards,
Anna
