Line-Dried, Color Run

Do you know how icy cold that wind was today?
The temperature said 55 but it felt like 30 with the bitter cold western winds, then southern, curious western again, just plain cold.
Oh, but what a perfect day to dry the comforter and coverlet on the line.  They were dry within the hour and smelled of the crispest air back on the bed.  I Love my retractable clothesline on the deck.
I love the fall but not the cold, lately, but I wanted to share one more bright moment in my day.  One last run down the steps, to take a few pics of the pumpkins.,
a glance of their shadows and brilliance from the side,
one last shot before running up the steps and in the house again, all at my fastest pace, cause,

baby, it's cold outside....with all these westerly winds.

Smell the air, enjoy the last of the colors, stay warm.

I like that dark orange warty pumpkin:) Can't argue with you on loving the smell of a line dried comforter. It was certainly a good day for line drying.

It has been chilly here too the last couple of days. Yesterday i went for a walk with another widow lady and that nippy wind was brrrr. I had gone out unprepared but fortunately my lady friend had TP in her pocket and we sruffed it in our ears. The wind really hurts my ears. But, when we reversed direction, the sun felt wonderfully warm on our backs. Those pumpkins look lovely and your pie on the other post scrummy.

All I can say is you guys from the Big 'O' family are so talented. the beauty is there, you arrange it or capture it. If it is available, you use it.What a heritage!!!

Love from down here, we will soon have fall ourselves.

I had clothes out on the line today myself. Nothing like the smell of line dried items!
