Whi-te Not

Whitest of White of the Bloodroot Flower
Dried White of the Fungus on dead fallen oak
the white of the ends of the Quills of the Porcupine
the very damaging porcupine killing yet another tree of our forest!
White teeth smiling through a hole in a concrete cellar  roof
The most true white of the Bridal Wreath of June in April

White hope of Strawberries Sweetest of Sweet, Soon~
Jellied False Corral so White
Mica Rock sparkling like glaze
Whitest of white trees, the White Birch we cherish 
The cleanest scent of the White Roses of my garden
A White Admiral to bring hope of a Warm,
Colorful Summer

I get so jealous, I wish I knew that stuff. I did not know the porcupine could damage trees either.

Some "Pretty" white things! I just love how you pick up on all the little things in life around you...Wonderful! all the pictures are great, but I especially love the white teeth showing through the hole..

give him a break...he is a citizen of those woods by design....
love all your whites...but especially the sandhill cranes...I have never seen one in person...though I have tried...

Nice pictures. I especially like the one of the evergreen needles around the birch trunk...Also, I like that you have sandhill cranes all the way up in northern Wisconsin. We see them year-round down here in Florida, practically every day, and in the last few weeks we have started seeing babies walking with their parents - a sure sign of spring!
