Just One of Spring's Beauties

I'm thrilled while waiting to see the Cinnamon Fern unfurl from it's tight, hairy orbs to it's Fiddleheads, sweet enough to eat like fresh garden peas.  Until, finally, they emerge into the most fabulous, 4-5 ft. tall circles of brilliant green ferns, tall with Cinnamon scented fronds by fall.

Spring, such a captivating time of year, bringing new life whichever direction we gaze.  Bring on the springtime.
Follow along throughout our 4 seasons, and I will do my best to fill your sense of smell, taste, vision, even peak your imagination from time to time.  Join us in our gardens, be it vegetable, plant or animal.  and
BlessYourHeart

Aren't ferns amazing? I love the variety. They are not a natural in our environment. But I do my best to keep them around. Thanks so much for your great comment! I really appreciate it!

Beautiful photos! I love ferns and really need to identify the ones that grow here locally.

In the woods next to me there is a large patch that ferns grow. Such a beautiful sight to behold. Amazing how they unfurl & spread out. In past years I have dug some up & planted in my gardens. There is so much beauty in nature. While hunting rocks for my garden expansion I saw may apples last weekend. Well around here that's a sign for mushrooms. I did not find any thow. Blessings!

Hi I am late, we moved from SC to NC and had to take some time with a girl called Stella! Sherry is so silly of the Great grand daughter. HA!
I was concerned about those three little rabbits you were showing in the last picture until you 'splained it!

Love from North CArolina (for awhile)
