Double Day Lily ( I wonder if Betsy has this beauty? and her name? )
The Morning Glories might even have a chance
as the Phlox and Blue Harebells do.
Even from a distance, things are perking up.
The bees are fighting over nectar and pollen within

Not thinking we would see pumpkins again this year,
maybe in Oct. there will be large orange orbs in the north garden.

Hello Dar:
Everything is certainly blooming in your garden at present. What a riot of colour and profusion of produce you have.

We think that your day lily could be Hemerocallis fulva Kwanso. It is an old variety and one used to breed many of the more modern double flowered hybrids. We could be wrong, but, neverthless, it is looking very good.

I have that double lily and do not know it's name either. All your plants have responded well to your recent rainfall, by the way I'm jealous of!

I'm so glad that you have been getting rain. I think that your double orange daylily is Kwanso, also. I have some in my garden. It's a very beautiful cultivar.

Congrats on the beautiful success of your gardening! I've heard so many bad stories this year because of the heat---it's great to see blooms!

Your garden is putting on one heck of a show! Gorgeous!

Yes, THANK GOD for the rains! What a difference it makes on all the crops that farmers have toiled over for weeks/months! There is nothing quite like watching things grow lush after the rainfalls.

The flowers are pretty and I always like the morning glories. Do you have wild ones there. We have them and they are smaller and the color is different but the bad then is when you cut them back they have a white substance in them that has a terrible odor.

I love all of your flowers. The onlu thing that grew wild here was my Umbrella plant. Blooms don't last long.
