Trout to Bobbles

There is nothing finer, than the gift of fresh fish, but frozen ain't bad either. After being gone last weekend, we came home to a surprise in our freezer. My brother left a note attached.
Oh, but these were not frozen for long. Look at these fine Brookies, the largest one measured 11 1/2 inches. Just right, and
so tasty fried in my cast iron pan with a hint of olive oil, rolled in cornmeal with a pinch of cayenne. Lip-smacking, finger-licking delicious. Thanks Eric., you're the man!

Also, the neighbor lady, Betty, walked over with a couple balls of yarn, needles and a pattern. She needed a baby's Bobble Cap for a gift. Of course, I will knit it for you. It turned out pretty cute, but, in the process, I found out that working with tiny size 3 needles is not the easiest with arthritic fingers....use it or loose it, but don't abuse it, like my Grams B. used to say. Now, for a gripe. All night and this morning, I could not bring up any of my entries. Somehow, my last one, Ticked Off, all about the clock collection of an aquaintance, has completely disappeared. Have any of you had a similar problem? If so, what do you do about it? I'm sorry if I missed any of your comments. Now, I'm Ticked Off.

Thanks for listening, thanks for continuing to visit and comment and

I see there's another advantage of living closer to home. I wonder if Eric would deliver some fish to 'this' sister? Those trout look really tasty.
I lost comments off some of my posts. Don't understand it. My blog reader page doesn't load right either. Oh well ...

The fish looks yummy.

For all the blogs that I follow, it would appear that their last post was deleted. It did the same to me on a post that I wrote yesterday. I re-posted it a few minutes ago.
Don't you just love technology??

Well, lookie there! All I had to do was to say I was Ticked Off and there's yesterday's post, minus the comments. At least the post is back.

You, Dar, have a wonderful brother! He is like my brother-in-law who makes room in his freezer by giving his sister all the good beans and okra and frozen veggies of all kinds. I know you were glad to accomodate since your brother needed more space. I gave up last night on Blogger and went to bed without knowing whether any of my comments went through. I wondered today if they were trying to drive all us bloggers to facebook.

Hi again! Thank you for your kind comments on my blogs. You know, I had to disable my "followers" list because of a photo that signed up that I felt was inappropriate. Sorry I had to do that because it was fun to see everyone. I am going to add you onto my "favorite blog list" though and then I can just click on to see what you are up to. The wonderful farm animals are at The Center where I am involved in a lot of art classes, teach one, etc. One side of the road is The Children's Farm and the other is The Community Center. If you click on "The Center" on my site list, you can see where we go. Suz too! This was a fund-raiser they did. I always love to be over at the farm anyway.

Hi sweet DArla, the country Northern Gal! The one who does about everything!

Been reading and enjoying. Sherry keeps me u0pdated when I am TOOOO tired. I found out I am old, a steady diet of 12 hour days takes it's toll.
Funny, that used to be normal, what happened?

Forget that. the fish look delicious I know they were. I also know fresh frozen fish caught by someone you know are better than any store bought fish.

Love ya, and always enjoy your posts.
