I hope you enjoyed my weekend strolls. It was one of the most peaceful weekends as we watched our son and his boys load up the trailer and move to their own home. It's beautiful and we wish them well.
In the meantime, I have gardens to finally plant and lawns to mow. I won't be here as often this summer but I will still read your entries and comment when I can. Summer is so busy here, and by time I get back in the house, it's going on 9 p.m. and late suppers.
Along with it usually comes, complete, wonderful exhaustion.
Have a great summer loving the weather, family outings, graduations, weddings, birthdays, etc. Make every second count.

i busted out laughing. i saw the pic of your mom and read your note as "mom and her ruffled panties..." Sorry, mom!!!
Your Mom looks a right sweetie pie!
Great images of your wonderful weekend Dar!!
whew! Glad I was not the only one who thought you were bragging about your mom's britches! Summer sure is here. We skipped right over spring! I am not ready for all this humidity. I have to say that I love days when you tumble in really late exhausted from a good day's work! That is always the best night's sleep!
Glad your Spring/Summer has come to your area. I love seeing all of your 'signs' --including all of the pretty flowers...
Isn't it wonderful that we can remember some of our deceased loved ones --by their flowers/plants? Love it...
It's hotter than hot here today. We had to turn on the AC--which we usually don't do until late summer... GADS.
Hugs,
Betsy
Work and play my friend.
Great show.
Sure looks like Spring to me. Great photos.
I love the spring flowers don't you? My grandmother loved the cowslips on her farm. Often the birds would come and build a nest under the window awnings- particularly the swallows.
The lilacs are blooming here too and it was a gorgeous warm day.
Thanks for sharing.
Warmest regards,
Anna
Isn't it great ~ spring at last! Super bunch of pics. Thanks for sharing.

Great things happening in your neck of the woods! I love to see all the blossoming trees. Great photos of your birds too!
You are so right that "summer is a busy time." So that's why I haven't been here more? LoL. Loved seeing all the pictures you posted in this entry, especially the 'dream' break one of the creek!
I love this time of year...and all the photos were just wonderful!
All I can say is thank you for the beautiful pictures you have been posting. Enjoy what you do best which is just about everything.
Thank you for identifying my mystery plant. I am looking forward to a picture of yours, you said you would post. I didn't know wildflowers had bulbs. This one was quite large and had long roots, as far as I could tell reaching the bottom of the barrel. In fact if we even looked wrong at that barrel I think it would fall apart. It actually had ice on it when I first found it.
Isn't that the truth about sweet , accomplished gardening.
