I'm right there with you, Dar. We thought spring was just around the corner (which I believe it is) but then we had snow and ice again. We've had a snow scene set as background on our PC and I was just tired of looking at it. Found one with LOTS of green on it and put it up. My hubby LOVED it!

Beautiful ivy! I wish I could grow a plant. I can even kill an artificial one. The nursery loves to see me coming. There she is, the plant killer!
The ivy is pretty but it looks like the kind that clogs trees and kills them. We have one dead now on the property beside ours. It came from behind us, ran across three fences and has just about killed four more trees. The property owner will do nothing about it. Some has already fallen across our utility house. We are afraid the big trunk is going to fall in a high wind and ruin our building. The insurance company says they will do nothing that it is an act of God if it blows over. I beg to differ, that ivy is the act of man LOL. I has also climmed our building and left a hideous place where the roots stuck to the building when Ken pulled it off.

Oh that's beautiful! Haven't seen that type before. My mom had yards and yards of English Ivy tracing around her living room walls.

Its a creeper, but looks good.
I like Ivy but I have always lost them to spider mites. I will take the green any day, creeping, crawling anything that doesn"t look like snow.
How do you know that is German Ivy? Okay I'll take your word for it. It is nice and green. I bet everything else up there is white!!!

Yes, we need to see green. That looks like a really healthy ivy. Mine has gotten a little dry over the winter.
I love ivy it is so beautiful. I thought green was on its way to my flower beds when I saw easter flowers popping up in the soil Sunday but within just a few hours the ground was covered in snow again. Blessings!
Your ivy looks so nice and green ... I think mine died off from being clogged off by dust bunnies.
The first thing I thought of is my English Ivy. They look so similiar.
German Ivy! I remember that from the houeplant craze from the 60s and 70s, in fact I still have one! Lovely plant.
