Yesterday's Gone

Yesterday we were blessed with such a beautiful sunrise,
Today is a fright. I fear it is going to be a gloomy day.
I do love this picture taken through my bathroom window.
It looks warmer than anything I feel today.
The house just does not want to warm up.

Yesterday, also blessed me with my first sighting of a bluebird scout checking out his box of last year. He spent a good share of the morning just sunning himself, then left. I'm sure he went to get his 'sweetie', to let her know that they should wait another week or so because of the cold front coming in and promising even more snow by the weekend. Let's hope that is not so.Until next time, have a warm, sunny, weekend. I will be keeping the fire stoked.
BlessYa'll

The robins are back but I'm almost hoping the bluebirds dont show up quite yet. Brr... what a drop we've had in temps since yesterday! I'm hoping those are rain clouds and NOT snow clouds surruounding us.

Hi Dar, I'm so glad your Bluebirds are back... They usually come back to the same place year after year. Since I replaced the old nest box for a new one recently--I'm so afraid that mine won't return... BUT--everyone tells me that they will. I HOPE!!!

We have a gorgeous day here in TN---but they say it will get cold again on Sun/Mon. Darn!!!!! Oh Well---tis life!

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Wow, your window scene is an amazing shot! The patterns made by the curtains and the ice are really cool. It almost looks like a fire itself. Sorry you have to wait longer for a warm sunny weekend. Thank God we have one today! But dreary rain is on its way again.

Funny that we have the same hand bag!

That is so exciting that you have seen your first bluebird! I have never seen one but there are bluebird boxes along many country road fence lines here. On my wishlist for this year is to take some photos of bluebirds!

Yesterday the first day of spring was ice, snow and wind and cold here in Nebraska. The day before was beautiful. It is supposed to get to a high of 40 today.

DAR, A FEW YEARS BACK WHEN LIVING UP ON 'SIOUX CIRCLE MOUNTAIN' SOUTH OF CANON CITY COLORADO, WATCHED FOR THE FIRST HUMMINGBIRDS TO ARRIVE.
VERY FEW BLOOMS AND COOL MORNINGS, THERE WOULD BE DADDY HUMMINGBIRD, LOOKING FOR SYRUP WHICH WAS THERE FOR HIM.
LATER BY A FEW DAYS WOULD COME MAMA.

WARMER WEATHER AND MORE BIRDS CAME, USING THE SEVERAL FEEDERS WAITING FOR THEM. sam
