The trees were full of songs this morning. I opened my eyes and just out my bedroom window, the top of the trees were full of goldfinches, purple finches and chickadees. They were having a breakfast of chokecherry buds. Those not eating were singing all about spring being well on its way.Who doesn't love this time of year when the trees are budding, the flowers slowly poking their noses through the yet cold earth. It won't be long and the whole yard will be ablaze in bright floral colors , green, green grass everywhere, trees leafing out, birds making their nests, babies of all kinds of the woods being born and shown off by their proud parents. I can't wait to see the first fawns of the season. There are always families of them born in my woods at the edge of the lawn. So much to look forward to. Life is good.
Our family is going through so many changes too, this spring already. It's going to be another good year.
God Bless You Another Day

Great picture. Birds everywhere. Where do you live, by that I mean what state? Looks like you live in a forest.
You do draw a beautiful mental picture of what you see. Yes, spring should wake us all up to God's beauty. I know it means even more up there after a harsh winter.
The positive person comes jumping through that entry!
Love from SC, we head out back to NC this morning,

It's always wonderful to witness the awakening spring brings.
I love stepping outside these mornings and hearing all the bird songs too!
I love this time of the year, too, Dar. The song birds have been waking us each morning and one evening last week we even heard the peepers! Surely spring has arrived!
And I LOVE your new background!
Oh Dar, isn't Spring wonderful???? It's probably our happiest season--after our long, hard winter!!!! So far, spring is just beginning here.. But--our birds are singing like crazy--so THEY know that it's spring!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Yes, the birds have been quite excited lately...although quite silent today as a cold front came through and will be here for a couple of days. By Monday it should be a festive outdoors again!
I so agree..I love this time of year. All my birds are very busy finding the best treea and bushes to nest in. I have even witnessed a few territory fights. My little garage wren has built a nest next to her bed..in an old bookcase. We will have lots of babies to watch! So happy you figured out how to change your background...love it ;-) Have a wonderful weekend Dar!
PS...4 med potatoes ;-)
